Daniel Kaufman / Kaufman Real Estate & Consulting LLC (“I,” “me,” or “my”) operates danielkaufman.info (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect through the Site, how I use it, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information I Collect
The Site has no contact forms or newsletter signup. Information I collect includes:
- Direct contact: if you email or call me using the details on the Contact page, I receive whatever information you choose to send.
- Chat messages: if you use the “Steve” chat assistant on the Site, the messages you type are sent to a serverless function I operate (steve-chat) to generate a response. I do not require any personal information to use the chat assistant.
My hosting infrastructure may also automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and site-performance purposes.
Analytics and Cookies
The Site does not currently use analytics or tracking cookies.
How I Use Information
I use the information I collect to respond to inquiries, operate the Steve chat assistant, operate and improve the Site, and comply with legal obligations. I do not sell your personal information.
Sharing of Information
I may share information with service providers who help operate the Site (such as hosting and serverless-function providers). To display recent posts from danskiandbuild.com, the Site fetches that blog's public RSS feed through a third-party feed-reading service (rss2json.com); this call does not transmit any of your personal information, only a request for publicly available blog content. I may also disclose information if required by law or to protect my rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
Data Retention
I retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Third-Party Links
The Site links to third-party sites, including danskiandbuild.com, Oldivai, Mr. Good Container Homes, and social media profiles. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and I encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

I take reasonable measures to protect the information I collect, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
